My name is Aliah Young and I am a Florida native born and raised in Miami, now living and working in Central Florida. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families to help them achieve their therapeutic goals by increasing their understanding of themselves and their environments, while also learning practical approaches to making changes in their lives and thought processes.

I strive for a safe, compassionate, informed, and trusting relationship with all my clients. I consider you, the client, as an expert in your life experiences. I mean after all, who knows you better than you?! By bringing your expertise into our counseling relationship, you create an important opportunity for us to connect and collaborate as a team on the direction of your counseling. I couldn’t do this without you!

I have experience working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, academic & career decisions, anger, relationship & intimacy issues, various forms of trauma & PTSD, racism & oppression, and many more. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you!
