About Daniela Abarca
My goal is to meet clients where they are at and help them reach whatever goals they may have for themselves by providing nonjudgmental support and helping to facilitate their journey. In practice I tend to incorporate strategies of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based, and person-centered to understand how thoughts impact emotions and behaviors. I have worked with clients as young as four, and currently work with a wide range of clients, from children to adults. I have worked in community based mental health for the last two year and have experience working in school settings. I strive to create a safe and comfortable experience for everyone who walks through my doors.
