About Maggie Lo

I am a strengths-based therapist, and an advocate. I believe you are the expert in your life, and I am also dedicated to pursuing social justice and striving to help those affected by social factors such as discrimination, poverty and social injustice. I use a combination of clinical, theoretical approaches, CBT, insight-oriented therapy and mindfulness training to assist my patients in identifying the barriers in their life.

My ideal client is ready to be the agent of their own change and break from the generational status quo. I believe that every individual is powerful in their way. My job is to assist my patient in using their own voice, setting healthy boundaries and advocating for themselves.

I have worked in the social work field in both Hong Kong and the US, and I love learning what grounds, connect, and excite us. I hope my patients feel challenged, validated, and empowered after concluding sessions.
