About Jeanne Long

Sometimes life’s journey has a way of showing us that perhaps it’s time to take a second look, take a step back, or simply take a new path. Therapy offers the opportunity to face life’s challenges with someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, and knowledgeable. If you choose, I am that person—Jeanne Long, Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

I have more than 15 years of experience counseling individuals on issues that affect them throughout the lifespan from childhood, adulthood and through to the end of life. I have worked in various clinical settings — community mental health, residential treatment centers, hospitals, and correctional facilities. My therapy approach is quite simple; I like to give people a safe, non-judgmental environment to tell their story and then work in collaboration with them to develop a plan on how to navigate whatever problem(s) they may be experiencing at the time. I look forward to us working together!

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating each person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I’m always accepting of someone in their entirety. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy and discussions of faith to get to best solutions for your life’s challenges. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I know that change can be difficult.

I commend you for having the courage to take the first step to seek a more fulfilling life. If you are ready to move forward, I am here to support and encourage you.
